Georgie Callaghan

Business Manager

Hi I’m Georgie! I have recently joined Publishing Today and I am looking forward to seeing how the business can grow. I have a passion for great customer service so I am excited to get to know new and existing clients.

Outside of work, I love going to the gym and catching up with friends, occasionally for coffee but mainly for wine!

Vicky Smallshaw

Sales & Distribution Advisor

Hi I’m Vicky! I’ve worked at Publishing Today for 7 years so I’m part of the furniture now. I enjoy my role here very much because I’m a bit of a chatterbox and get to talk to lots of clients and advertisers!

I’m a mum of 20 year old twin boys and a 3 year old Border Terrier called Maggie-May – my favourite ‘person’ on the planet. I enjoy travel and love holidays abroad. I’m probably happiest on the beach or lying by a pool, in the sunshine, sipping a cool drink… or 2.

Becci Stradling

Sales Advisor

Hi, I’m Becci! I believe variety is the spice of life. I’m very passionate about customer facing roles and previously spent many years in hairdressing, floristry and co-ordinator for catering functions. I joined the team here last year and have embraced the role.

But my favourite role is being a wife and a mum to my 2 gorgeous girls, at home, sipping a glass of wine!

Mell Prideaux

Sales Advisor

Hi, I’m Mell! I’ve been here at Publishing Today for 7 years, previously working in sales and customer relations for Coca-Cola, Schweppes and Telewest Broadband.

I am Mum to 2 very tall teenage girls who take up most of my free time. I am an avid music fan (possibly Paul Weller’s biggest aficionado!). I love to go to gigs and the theatre. Sometimes I can be found propping up the bar at The Fleece, but occasionally in the gym!

Julie Petford

Hi there! I’m Julie. I am the original founder of the local papers and now work for Publishing Today Digital Ltd as a consultant on everything advertising related!

Nick Bird

Hi there! I’m Nick, Director of Publishing Today Digital Ltd.

I have a wealth of experience in marketing and advertising, both offline and digital, and have worked with a vast range of companies on a global and local scale. I am passionate about business – I absolutely love it! I really enjoy working with organisations big and small, helping them to grow through effective marketing strategies.

Away from work, I’m a family man that loves cars, motorcycles and my Labrador, Gus!

Jon Bird

Hello! I’m Jon, Director of Publishing Today Digital Ltd.

I live and breath business and marketing – it’s my passion! I love helping businesses get their name out there, and with Publishing Today we are able to do that whilst providing free and useful service to the public.

What makes us different?

Everything we do focuses on getting your business recognised on a local level. If you’re a sole trader or local business, advertising both nationally and regionally can be expensive, along with making little business sense. In most instances, advertising nationally and regionally means you’ll be competing against large organisations with big budgets to burn – a small fish in a big pond scenario.

Well, we can make the pond smaller.

Our approach is unique. We understand that it makes much more sense for sole traders and local companies to do business with clients local to their business; meaning less competition, less travelling and more local enquiries! And hopefully, much more profit!
